Full Description
This 40 hour course is designed for law enforcement personnel with designated responsibilities and/or supervision of evidence and property. Class content includes:

1.  Washington State laws pertaining to property and evidence
2.  Job description and responsibilities
3.  Storage and organization methods
4.  WASPC accreditation standards
5.  WSP crime lab packaging and submission guidelines
6.  Audits and inventories
7.  Best practices: Policies and Procedures
8.  Retention guidelines and disposition projects
9.  Evidence in Court

Audience:  Class is only open to actively employed criminal justice professionals.

Pre-Course Work: None

Dress Code:  For security reasons, while on the WSCJTC campus are encouraged to wear their agency logo shirt/uniform and have their agency ID badge visible.

Schedule: Check Reporting Instructions (M-F, 0800-1700)

Cancellation Policy: Deadline to cancel is 7 days prior to class.  There is a no show or late cancellation fee. Cancellations are done by the agency's training manager in the WSCJTC Acadis Portal.
