This online course will teach the basic duties and tasks of a Sheriff Department's Civil unit.
Full Description
This online training is for staff either commissioned or civilian that work for the sheriff in the capacity of handling the mandated civil functions of a Sheriff’s Civil Unit.

These include service of process, protection orders, seizure and forfeiture of personal or real property and how to properly execute a Sheriff’s Sale.

Audience: Civil employees of the Sheriff's Offices.

Pre-Course Work: None

Class Times: Self- Directed within the 14 days of the online materials being available per class.

Cancellation Policy: Deadline to cancel is 1 day prior to the start of class. Cancellations are done by the agency's training manager in the WSCJTC Acadis Portal.
