Full Description
The Federal Law Enforcement Officer Safety Act (LEOSA - 18USC926C) authorizes retired and separated law enforcement officers nationwide to carry concealed weapons throughout the country.

Resources Required
Bring all required equipment listed below. Students are responsible for ensuring their equipment is in good working condition before arriving for class.
• Handgun you intend to carry
• Holster
~ Must be designed for concealed carry
~ Inside or outside the waistband.
~ Must securely retain the firearm.
~~ All retention devices must be fastened while the firearm is holstered and must be disengaged during the draw stroke and re-engaged when reholstering.
• Eye and hearing protection
• Ballistic vest (body armor)
~ A ballistic vest is required while on the range in accordance with WSCJTC policy.
~ A limited number of loaner vests may be available.

EQUIPMENT RESTRICTIONS
The Sig Sauer P320 and SERPA Holster are not authorized at the WSCJTC campus.

AMMUNITION REQUIREMENTS
The WSCJTC is a lead-free/clean fire range. Note: The qualification course is 25 rounds.
• 25 rounds of clean-fire (lead-free) ammunition.
~ You may purchase this ammunition from your preferred supplier.

Signup Details
All applications must be submitted through the Acadis Portal WEBFORM located on the left under LINKS & WEBFORMS. DO NOT click REGISTER and do not mail in applications; only payments.

1. Complete Form 734 and save it somewhere on your computer where you can find it.
        a. Form 734
              i. If you qualify somewhere other than the CJTC range, the instructor will complete this form and return it to you.
            ii. If you want to qualify at the CJTC range, write the date you want on the form, so we know which date you are choosing

2. Save a copy of at least the front (preferred both sides on one document) of your LEOSA LE credentials somewhere on your computer where you can find it.

3. Log into Acadis

4. On the left-hand side, click on “Links & Webforms”

5. Click “Webforms”

6. Click “LEOSA Application (Initial/Renewal)”

7. Answer each question asked:
        a. Where did you take your qualification
        b. Payment has been submitted as a (see options at the end of this email)
        c. Dates of CJTC LEOSA Qualification
                i. If not at CJTC, choose “Using a non-CJTC Location”
       d. Provide Check,  Money Order, or Wire Transfer Confirmation #”

8. Enter your personal information

9. Required Documents to Upload
        a. Copy of your Retirement/Separation LE ID
        b. Form 734

10. Answer the “Requirements” questions

11. Attestations
        a. Your full legal name

12. Submit


FEE:
New/Initial Application:
    • Completing a qualification at the WSCJTC Range, the fee is $100.
    • Completing a qualification not at the WSCJTC Range, the fee is $50.
Renewal Application:
    • Completing a qualification at the WSCJTC Range, the fee is $50.
    • Completing a qualification not at the WSCJTC Range, the fee is $25.
