Full Description
A 90-minute training focused on the critical coordination of response systems to effectively support the most vulnerable members of our communities. Through advocacy and the implementation of the LEAD framework our systems begin to be responsive and make changes that strengthen the care system, and communities can better leverage the power they have to elevate stability among individuals and the community at large. This heightened stability not only enhances safety, health, and equity but also reduces barriers to community-based alternatives to incarceration and prosecution for individuals affected by unmanaged substance use, mental health challenges, or severe poverty.

Additionally, this training will provide insights on how to enhance coordination and expand the safety net across the state, fostering a more connected and responsive system for those in need.

This training is presented by Let Everyone Advance with Dignity/ Law
Enforcement Assisted Diversion Washington Technical Support Team (LEAD-WA), with guest panelists from Washington Association of Sheriffs and Police Chiefs (WASPC), and the Health Care Authority of Washington (HCA).
